Fedor Khitrovo, Captain of the cavalry and gentleman of the chamber at the court who opposed the Bestuzhev plan for marriage between Catherine and Grigorii Orlov, was arrested in May of 1763 and sent for exile to his Orel estates where lived till his death in 1774.[1]
